Event details

 

An eclectic gathering of InfoSec people to hear awesome talks and have outrageously fun discussions!  Our mission is to provide an inclusive, ecletic, some say quirky open environment for sharing and collaborative discourse on topics that most interest you.

 

Last year the Austin event was awesome, which you know if you were there.  Security BSides Austin 2013 will be even better.  If you have thoughts, comments, complaints, suggestions, or would like to volunteer, let us know - send a message to:

What is AppSec Guerrilla Camp? A form of irregular training that gives you concentrated hands-on training in a highly mobile format.

 

Repeating again this year - Fire Marshall Talks (Thursday evening)

Yes, we renamed the talks to include the WONDERFUL experience we had with the Austin Fire Marshall unsuccessfully raining on our Con in 2011. - So here is to you Mr. Fire Marshall... talks named in your 'by the book' honor!

Day 1 - Thursday

 

  • Morning: We aren't fond of morning, either.  The good news is that Breakfast and Coffee, will be provided by TENABLE.

Day 2 - Friday

 

  • Morning: After our evening activity and whatever else we do, morning may be a bit rough again.  But Breakfast and Coffee will be available, and much more to help ease your stomach (and possibly brain) into a new day.
